ASCoR PhD candidate Verena Wottrich receives the Unilever Research Prize 2015.
The prize is annually awarded to 13 students from different Dutch universities for their excellent research conducted in the fields of chemistry, biology, health, medicine and life sciences, mechanical engineering, and social sciences. Verena receives the prize for her successful student career, particularly for her Research Master’s thesis, which was supervised by prof. dr. Edith Smit and prof. dr. ir. Peeter Verlegh. The award amounting to € 2.500,- will be handed over in December at the Unilever Research Center in Vlaardingen.
The program Persuasive Communication addresses those communication processes that are intended to achieve specific persuasive goals, as is the case in, for instance, marketing communication, health education, and public information campaigns. The research is aimed at understanding the dynamics that shape uses and effects of mediated persuasive communication. Read more >>
