Two awards at the 2015 DC Health Communication Conference

During the 2015 DC Health Communication Conference in Fairfax, United States, twoawards were appointed to ASCoR researchers. Nadine Bol and Corine Meppelink won a Top Student Research Presentation award for their paper “How Illustrations Improve Health Information Processing Among Individuals with Limited Health Literacy: An Eye-Tracking Experiment”.

Julia van Weert, together with Jesse Jansen (Sydney University), Barbara van Munster (Academic Medical Center), René Spijker and Lotty Hooft (Dutch Cochrane Center) received an Honorary Mention Research Presentation award for their studyEffects of Decision Support Tools for Older Adults: A Systematic Review of the Literature”.
