Social Code: YouTube launched

Last week the Social Code: YouTube was launched by a group of Dutch YouTubers in collaboration with the Dutch Media Authority (Commissariaat voor de Media). See press release underneath this article.

The code is about how to be transparent about sponsoring and advertising in YouTube video and was inspired by research that was conducted by Eva van Reijmersdal. Together with Esther Rozendaal, she advised the YouTubers and the Dutch Media Authority on how to effectively disclose sponsored content in YouTube videos aimed at minors.
