Research: In my current research I examine resistance towards persuasion from the perspective of both the sender and the receiver. Hence, I investigate how persuasive messages can be more effective by addressing resistance, and how receivers can arm themselves against persuasive messages.
Teaching: Persuasion & Resistance, Persuasieve Communicatie
The program Persuasive Communication addresses those communication processes that are intended to achieve specific persuasive goals, as is the case in, for instance, marketing communication, health education, and public information campaigns.
