ASCoR researcher dr. Marieke Fransen has been appointed as the new editor of the ‘Tijdschrift voor Communicatiewetenschap’, the leading journal for Dutch and Flemish scholars in Communication Science. She started on January 1st 2015 and succeeds dr. Connie de Boer. Fransen is looking forward to publish interesting and relevant communication research conducted by Dutch and Flemish scholars.
The program Persuasive Communication addresses those communication processes that are intended to achieve specific persuasive goals, as is the case in, for instance, marketing communication, health education, and public information campaigns. The research is aimed at understanding the dynamics that shape uses and effects of mediated persuasive communication. Read more >>
