Guda van Noort, Hilde Voorveld and Theo Araujo awarded grants by the RPA Human(e) AI

Three ASCoR researchers were awarded grants by the Research Priority Human(e) AI, an UvA-wide initiative aimed at fostering the investigation of the societal consequences of Artificial Intelligence in an interdisciplinary manner.

Guda van Noort will investigate data use in squads together with Paul Groth (FNWI). Hilde Voorveld’s project explores the effects of prosody in voice-driven chatbots together with Tom Lentz and Evangelos Kamoulas (FNWI). Theo Araujo will investigate virtual assistant platforms in a project with Thomas Poell (FGw) and João Pedro Quintais (FdR).
